剧情梗概 影片讲述了纽约中央动物园里的要好朋友四只动物：狮子Stiller，斑马Rock，长颈鹿Schwimmer，怀孕的河马Smith。其中一个消失了，另外三个好友逃出动物园找他，到后来他四只被抓到而被关在木箱内送回他父母原本来自的非洲。在海上发生了海难，还好他们四个流落在马达加斯加。因人颣已照顾他四个从小到大，他们不知如何在野生生存，狮子本性还有一点忧郁想把他三个朋友吃掉。为适应环境，他们认识了当地的马拉卡西狐猴跟会吃他们的对手动物群。当这两方想从他们四个得到一些好处，他们也为了生存而变成了英雄…… 其他中文片名：
